New Ambulance

Thanks to a Federal Grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, our downtown station (Sta. 20) is undergoing a much needed remodel. Most of the work will be interior work focused on improvements for firefighter safety, however the work will also include a new public entryway.

On October 15th, 2009, Newberg Fire Department took delivery of it's new ambulance. The new ambulance was built in Iowa by Life Line Emergency Vehicles. This is a state-of-the-art critical care unit. Built into the design is an overall safer module area for medics to work. It is expected the new ambulance will be in-service in 30-60 days.
