Fire Prevention Week:
October 7-13, 2012

An Open House will be held on October 13, 2012 at Station 21 on Springbrook Rd - 11am to 2pm.
Each year Newberg Fire Department invites the community into the station to participate in events that focus on fire prevention and safety.  NFD's main focus with this event is to teach fire safety to children by providing many events that involve the children in making decisions and practicing fire safety.  Additionally, NFD uses the open house as an opportunity to inform the public about Newberg Fire and how the department operates.  NFD also performs many exciting demonstrations like a live fire demonstration of a mock bedroom, extrication of a victim from a vehicle, and many other scenarios.
