Become a Firefighter

Thanks to a Federal Grant under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, our downtown station (Sta. 20) is undergoing a much needed remodel. Most of the work will be interior work focused on improvements for firefighter safety, however the work will also include a new public entryway.

Newberg Fire Department is a combination department consisting of paid and volunteer firefighters. No matter what avenue you choose to take (career vs. volunteer) it takes time and dedication to become and maintain requirments as a firefighter. The rewards however, are well worth it.
