The City of Newberg's Water Treatment Plant (WTP) has successfully met the City's drinking water nees for over 50 years. The WTP report summarizes the performance and design features of the City of Newberg's existing Water Treatment Plant as well as makes recommendations for future treatment improvements and facilities. The purpose of the Water Treatment Facilities Plan (WTFP) is to define the ability of the existing plant to continue serving the City, to devolop a list of prioritized Capital Improvements to upgrade the plant to maintain the existing capacity, and to consider possible capacity expansion alternatives. The plant evaluation contains basic information and supporting materials to allow preliminary engineering analyses for upgrade and improvement options.
