Transportation System Development Charge - Inflation Increases

For October 2009 the Engineering News Record Construction Cost Index (http://enr.construction.com/economics/default.asp) shows an annual inflation rate at -0.3% therefore there is no inflationary increase in Engineering Division Fees.

The only fee that will increase is the Transportation SDC and that is due to the passing of Ordinance No. 2009-2721 which modifies the cost of the Oregon Highway 219/Second Street Improvement Project and the addition of a traffic signal at the Oregon Highway 219/Everest Road Intersection. The modification/addition of these two projects increases the Transportation SDC cost per trip a total of $3.00.
