Erosion Control, Illicit Discharges, and Stormwater Management Proposed Municipal Code
The TMDL Implementation Plan, a 2008 agreement between the City and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, requires the City to adopt and implement regulations to control erosion, minimize illegal or illicit discharges into the stormwater system, and manage runoff.
The additions to the municipal code that are required by the TMDL Implementation Plan were presented to the Planning Commission during a workshop held on Thursday, October 13, 2011. It was heard by the Planning Commission at their public hearing on November 10, 2011 and a resolution recommending the proposed code to the City Council was passed on January 12, 2012. The proposed code will be presentetd to the City Council
at a date yet to be determined.
