    • This project includes mitigation of diesel exhaust issues by installing air filters in the fire station apparatus bays and providing protection for the turnout gear.  In addition, there is an expansion of the building to improve the training room and operations room. Livability for the station staff will also be improved with various bunk room, day room, and physical training room upgrades.

    • Sealed bids for the Newberg Fire Station #20 Remodel Project&nbsp;were accepted until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 17th day of August 2011. <div style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt"><br /> Contractor Bids have been opened and the apparent low bidder is First Cascade Corporation with a price of $592,028. &nbsp;The project is anticipated to start construction in mid September.&nbsp;</div> <br /> A&nbsp;MANDATORY Pre-bid Meeting&nbsp;was held at Newberg City Hall, Permit Center Conference Room on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
