The performance of the City Manager is reviewed by the Council annually.  One element of this review is to establish a set of goals and objective for the coming year.  The most recent evaluation occurred in April 2009.  Following are the goals and objectives that were set by Council:

1. Finance: Carefully monitor the 2009/2010 budget; suggest strategic actions to prepare for the 2010/2011 budget year.
2. Goal Setting: Work with the Council to complete their goal setting process.
3. Animal Shelter: Secure a site for the new shelter and begin construction.
4. Establish a Public Safety Fee.
