Daniel Danicic has worked for the City of Newberg since 2001.  Initially hired as the City Engineer, he was promoted to Public Works Director in 2004.  Through a competitive process competing with 72 applicants he was promoted to City Manager in 2008.

Prior to coming to the City, he worked for SP Engineering in Anchorage, Alaska (8 yrs), Symonds Consulting Engineers in Portland (2 yrs) and the City of Gresham (9 yrs).

He has a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska, Anchorage and a Masters in Public Administration from Norwich University.
