The City of Newberg Council is proud to support our community and proclaim special events by means of proclamations. On June 7, 2010, the Council approved a proclamation supporting the actions of Sergeant Mark Cooke, Senior Officer Scott Liston, and Officer Thomas Sattler. The proclamation declares the officers received recognition for actions taken to save the life of another and they each received the Life Saving Award.
