Domestic Violence Awareness Month Proclamation

The City of Newberg Council is proud to support our community and proclaim special events by means of proclamations. On October 4, 2010, the Council will be approving a proclamation declaring October, 2010, as Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The proclamation supports a nonprofit organization called The EMILY Fund which is dedicated to raising awareness about the serious issue of dating violence and urges all Newberg citizens to work together to eliminate domestic violence from our community.  Check it out by clicking on the proclamation below!  If you have questions, please contact City Recorder Norma Alley at (503) 537-1283 or via email at norma.alley@newbergoregon.gov.
