E-Permit / Basic Services

You may apply for limited-scope over-the-counter electrical, mechanical, and plumbing permits on this site. This site offers permits that do not require plans, calculations, or other agency approval. The following permit types are available electronically:
  • Electrical Permits—installing, replacing, or altering electrical service, wiring, or circuits in existing buildings.
  • Mechanical Permits—installing, replacing, or altering fuel gas piping, heating, ventilation, or cooling equipment within existing buildings.
  • Plumbing Permits—installing, replacing, or altering water or drainage piping, including the associated fixtures in existing buildings.
