A building permit is required for structures over 200 square feet and 10 feet in height.

Sheds or Assessory Structures - A building permit is not required for a shed under 200 square feet and 10 feet in height that meets lot coverage and setbacks.  The structure still must meet building code and development code standards.  See the zoning standrds matrix below for more information on setbacks and lot coverage requirements.  In addition, they cannot be placed in easements or stream corridors.
